Ok I want to know how much diskspace you really need. So I installed Fedora 16 in a VMware player virtual machine with 20 GB harddisk. Here is the result according to the command df:
- harddisk size: 20 GB
- after partitioning and formatting: 18 GB
- after installing default Fedora 16: 15 GB
On the root file system, 2.3 GB are used according to the command df. The / file system is ext4.
