This article is about how much diskspace is used by a Linux installation. To find out free diskspace on your computer, use the command df.
- harddisk size: 20 GB
- after partitioning and formatting: 18 GB
- after installing default Fedora 16: 15 GB
On the root file system, 2.3 GB are used according to the command df. The / file system is ext4.
