VMware is a virtualization software like virtualbox, kvm and xen. You can use VMware Player for free from http://www.vmware.com.
Get it
Here is an example how I got it on 2011-10-21.
SUSE Linux 11.4
- Download VMware Server 1.0.10 from www.vmware.com
- install some dependencies
yast -i kernel-source
- unpack vmware
tar xvzf Downloads/VMware*
- install it
cd vmware-server-distrib/ ./vmware-install.pl
